So, I've been the host of Marketers Mansion all week
It's a reality TV show that brings amateur and high
profile marketers together... actually living together
in a Vegas mansion.
Being the host also means being a judge. Each day, the
"players" had a new task. Often times, they were expected
to create a product and start getting sales... in just 4 hours.
At the end of the day, there was a board room style meeting
where we dissected their work and it wasn't always rainbows
and lollipops. In fact, being the main judge, I was quite
harsh sometimes.
In the end, all of the participants said it was just what
they needed to get them into gear and start making money
online.
On the final day, I gave a presentation about webinars and
I broke my golden rule... I didn't have my trusted jar of honey
by my side.
Honey is a miracle cure for any frog in your throat. While most
of the time I don't need it, that day, my voice just went.
It was kind of funny, because the audience could see me struggling
to get the words out, but this would have been a disaster if
it were a live webinar, where the audience couldn't see what was
going on.
So, my tip of the day is to always keep a jar of honey around while
doing webinars. It is a miracle cure for when your voice just
decides to be uncooperative.
