So what should you do if you are stuck and desperately need to escape the rat race?

The number one thing you need to do is have a plan or an exit strategy.

Your exit strategy could be starting a home business that you work a couple of hours a day around your main job.

It’s not going to be easy, but its a sacrifice you have to pay to escape the rate rate.

Work out how many hours you have a day.

So for example, most people work 8 hours a day and commute for 2 hours to and from work.

That’s 10 hrs already gone!

Then you need to allow time for family.

And family time is very important.

Don’t deprive your family of their time otherwise they will come to resent you and your business.

Try to devote at least 1 to 2 hours of undivided attention on your family, especially if you have kids.

During that time, turn off your computer. Don’t get tempted to go on Skype or facebook.

And remember, you still have to find time to sleep, eat and do other little things!

So where on earth will you find the time to implement your exit strategy?

Well….where there is a will, there is a way!

Even if you only have 2 hours a day to devote to your business, make sure that you spend the time actively working your business and not chatting away on Facebook and Skype.

Work on your exit strategy (in other words, your home business) consistently.

Even though you might be unable to put in 5, 6 hours a day into it, keep on doing something that builds your business every day.
