It should be pretty easy to make an extra $500 - $1,000 per month or more on the Internet. Unfortunately, for many people, it's not.
Do you know what the BIGGEST difference is between those making extra money on the Internet and those who struggle?
It's pretty simple if you think about it.
It all comes down to one word.
Focus.
There are, still are, too many people who want to become rich... be super successful... but never reach their goals.
That's all because they lack the necessary focus that's needed.
Instead, they're constantly looking for that one business opportunity that will make them RICH.
That'll make them an overnight success.
That'll have them on "easy street" for life.
Last week they were in an MLM program. Today, they're trying to sell Information Products. Next week, they're dabbling in Affiliate Marketing. The week after, they decide that they want to open a franchise instead.
Every time something new comes up that presents a possibility of making extra money, they jump on that bandwagon.
Ditching all efforts and attempts of the previous opportunity they were interested in.
Trying anything, and everything, until they end up right back where they started... nowhere.
The thing about it is, many of them are still working at their "j-o-b" while exploring all of the possible opportunities. Never committing to anything.
While those who are making extra money, do business correctly and are successful, are focused on ONE task at hand.
To illustrate my point, let me briefly tell you a story about myself.
When I started out doing business in 2008, I was heavily interested in a lot of things. First, I was interested in proofreading and editing, so I created a website geared towards providing those services.
After about two weeks, I read in a business publication about how lucrative the money is in importing and exporting. I decided to put my proofreading/editing business aside and focus on importing and exporting different fruits to and from the Caribbean.
Then, a friend told me about the money he was making as an Affiliate Marketer and how easy it was. And low and behold, I ditched the importing//exporting game to learn about Affiliate Marketing.
After I found myself struggling to make any money, I decided to look for something else. I came across making money as a Researcher for other people.
After making some money in that, another friend of mine introduced me to Copywriting. Spent some money to get the information that was needed to learn the skill but then after hearing interviews from various copywriters, I decided that Information Products was the way to go.
This was all in the span of a year.
By the time I came around to Information Products, my then girlfriend (now fiance) said to me, "Why don't you choose something and stick with it. Jumping around all over the place isn't going to get you no where. If you do that, you might as well give up and get a job like everybody else."
Boy, did those words sting.
In an attempt to prove her wrong, I decided to focus solely on Information Products as my method to making extra money.
Read books, manuals, attended workshops, etc. to learn as much as I possibly could about Information Products to make this work.
And now... Information Products is my bread and butter to making extra money... whether online or offline.
If you are ANYTHING right now like how I was back then, you have an issue. And your issue is your reasoning behind jumping between opportunities.
I had the same types of reasoning before as well.
"I just don't want to put all my eggs into ONE basket."
"I want to make a FORTUNE, not little money."
"It's good to have variety."
ETC.
That's the type of thinking and reasoning that gets people no where.
Throughout the years, I've witnessed many of the most successful people out there stay focused on their particular business and succeed beyond imagination.
On the flip side, there have been many hopefuls that are still trying to find that one opportunity that makes them their fortune. Until then, they keep on investing in How-to manuals, booklets, courses, etc.
Whether they know it or not, they've absorbed HUNDREDS of businesses ideas and plans throughout the years or constantly searching for that ONE BIG ONE.
If only they applied any type of focus or effort into one of the businesses they've already read about, they wouldn't be in the position they're in today.
Stop trying to find that ONE big opportunity to make money and choose one... focus... and apply yourself to it.
You won't succeed in anything if you don't have a definite focus on one particular business. That's the major difference between those that make extra money... and those that steady wish they were making money.
